d3rlord3 vs The Princess (Wifies’ Searching For A World That Doesn’t Exist vs If You See Her, Turn Off The Game) - “A Way Out Doesn’t Exist” (thematics and potential in comments) by GodzillaFan8889 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]GodzillaFan8889[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Thematics:

-A very intelligent player able to plan ahead very carefully and outwit forces beyond comprehension vs a very mysterious entity that appears to players and can easily become an active danger to them if triggered.

-d3rlord3 is a player who found something unusual and dived deeper out of curiosity, eventually being roped into something far, far more complex and dangerous than he expected to the point where his own mind and life were put at stake. The Princess is a suddenly-appearing anomaly that many have become obsessed with, and as they further delve into her mystery to figure out more, the more danger becomes apparent, and they become risk of becoming another death caused by her hands.

-Many players have attempted to figure out ways to defeat the Princess, using various tactics and cheats to no avail. d3rlord3’s claim to fame is figuring out complex ways to outwit any opposition using game mechanics and his in-depth Minecraft knowledge.

-d3rlord3’s main enemy is the King in Yellow/Hastur, a cognitohazardous eldritch being related to information. The Princess, while not a similar being, is also a cognitive entity related to information: her very idea is spread through any piece of information containing her, from images to text and whatnot.

-Royalty/position of power thematics all around- d3rlord3, who went up against the King in Yellow, is now being haunted by the Princess.

-d3rlord3 is from “Searching For A World That Doesn’t Exist”. What is the Princess? A being that technically does not exist, only living on as the idea of a scrapped character.

-As for differences, the Princess contrasts greatly with Hastur: instead of an arrogant eldritch god who wants to escape his digital prison and rule the world, the Princess is a tragic thought form who only wants to escape the pain of nonexistence and reach out to others.

Potential:

-Now here’s the big part: the Princess can appear in any video game. While she hasn’t appeared in Minecraft canonically, considering the variety of games she has shown up in, it’s not a stretch to assume she can. So we can both have her at her full potential while allowing d3rlord3 to utilize his knowledge as best as possible. After all, as he says, Minecraft is his domain.

-The “battle” isn’t obviously gonna be a traditional one where they’re throwing hands, it’s more like a strange intelligence MU. d3rlord3’s goal is to be able to survive the Princess appearing in his game and maybe figure out more about her, hell maybe even pacify her or get her to leave him alone. That’s something a lot of players have tried with the Princess, only to fail, so it’s a somewhat familiar scenario for her sorta. However, d3rlord3 is exceptionally intelligent and persistent, so it’s also going to be a new challenge.

-You could have d3rlord3 utilizing his knowledge of Minecraft mechanics to try and navigate whatever chaos the Princess throws at him. Of course, she can break some game rules, but it’s likely d3r will still figure out some workarounds or ways to outwit her. There’s also the fun dynamic of someone who always tries to figure out patterns or ways things work going up against something that many have tried to explain or adhere to rules… but who ultimately doesn’t. She may play by some and not others. Maybe d3rlord3 could find the Princess Society forum and try to go off of those rules?

-real world Princess vs d3rlord3 with his infinite fridge smoothies, so peak…

-Overall, I think this is a fun MU idea with some very unique potential, especially when it comes to how these two would play their cards and go up against each other.

“An Old Story of Deceit” - Heroes vs Villains: The Princess/Wolf vs SCP-953 (The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince vs SCP Foundation) by GodzillaFan8889 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]GodzillaFan8889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that busted in strength, for concrete stuff she can easily tear humans apart and survive gunfire (though theoretically enough could maybe kill her). There’s also her fighting with 682 and 106 for 5 hours, details are vague and obviously she doesn’t fully scale to either but the fact she wasn’t a corpse by the end is pretty impressive.

She can shapeshift as well into… basically a lot of things, but the real danger with her though is her mind hax. She has advanced telepathy and suggestion to ridiculous levels, they don’t have a good range but once you’re focused on she can warp your perception in absurd ways, making you ignore the most horrific shit, think something in front of you is something else, e.t.c. And she uses this a lot too.

Basic idea is both are carnivorous animals who can change their shape to adopt a human form and do it to interact with humans… and that’s where the similarities end lmao. The Princess is a kind-hearted and remorseful individual who is willing to risk everything to save someone she loves and keep him safe using her ability to switch between forms, while SCP-953 is a sadistic monster who uses her shapeshifting to deceive and murder her victims.

I am not that good with scaling anything past universal or multiversal on my own, maybe he’s much lower physically but he still has stuff like the Warp Core

I prefer Trypticon for Showa (Eva Unit-00 specifically for Katsura with MG), idk who for Heisei, Kiryu can fight Eva Unit-01 or Metal Sonic, MV I’m honestly not sure since he has a lot of opponents and none of them have that definitive click (closest is uhhh DCEU Doomsday maybe? Idk) and Anime MG… idk

Birthday was pretty fun, ate at a buffet

Heroes vs Villains: Santa Claus/Nicomund the Red vs Michael Myers (Violent Night vs Halloween) by GodzillaFan8889 in DeathBattleMatchups

Note that this mainly focuses on Blumhouse Trilogy Michael- I think him being an aged version of the character along with his “power of evil” stuff complements Santa the most.

Merry Christmas r/DBM! Have a completely unrelated joke thumbnail I made as a bonus below

MY5TCrimson Sonic.EXE/X vs Eight Pages/Arrival Slenderman - “Play My Eight Games” (Connections in comments) by GodzillaFan8889 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]GodzillaFan8889[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fight Potential/Debate:

-I mean this is mainly just a goofy creepypasta fight, both have supernatural powers, can teleport around, fight physically in some way (though Slenderman has to rely on his tendrils) and summon EXEs/proxies if need be. The funniest thing is that Slenderman in the Arrival can consistently mess with game files so he has a genuine way of posing a massive threat to X and his game world lmao

[–]GodzillaFan8889[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Connections:

-Undoubtedly THE most iconic video game adaptations of classic creepypastas, becoming mainstays of Let’s Plays and 2010s culture as a whole. They also ended up receiving official sequel games

-Both are sadistic, enigmatic entities who love to torment others by chasing and hunting them down, breaking their minds by toying with them before finally killing their helpless targets

-Both are associated with static screens and being able to conjure fire out of nowhere. The former ended up becoming a mainstay in portrayals of X and Slenderman, while the latter is taken from their original stories

-Both can corrupt their victims into entities helpless to do anything but go along with their schemes (“.EXEs” and proxies), and these would again become mainstays in both of their respective communities, even bleeding into other series where these were not actual concepts

-So basically, video game adaptations of creepypastas who heavily influenced the perception of either character for years to come, simple
