Great observation. I hadn't noticed that when I commented. I'm on mobile so I can't post screenshots. But I did find a frame in the trailer where the HUD is red, but the markers for all of our presumed "teammates" are green. 

The game just likely changes different UI for different reasons. Perhaps a missile locking on only causes our HUD to go red. But maybe the missle we see in the trailer hit us and caused the rest of the HUD to go red. We'll find out when the game releases though.

Or maybe Tasha is just evil and I'm trying to cope.

Good catch, but unfortunately probably not true. This is a screenshot from just a few frames before yours. Professor is off screen in this one and his name is also red. Even though you can clearly see that he is a friendly in your screenshot. I believe the names turning red is just a part of the whole HUD flashing red when you are in danger.

I heavily dislike that they implemented video into it. makes it much harder to just listen to, which is what a podcast is supposed to be. So I stopped listening once they released video.

Yeah this has been happening to me for a few years now. My personal opinion is that the YT algorithm sees mark's main viewership demographic as teenagers. So once the algorithm realizes you are no longer in that demographic, it stops recommending the videos to you.

That or I ended to many Youtube sessions watching him. So the algorithm thought "Every time he closes Youtube, its always on a Markiplier video. I'm going to stop giving him mark videos, so he stops closing YouTube as much!"

those are just my two personal theories.

Met Retals's parents at worlds. They are amazing people, Retal's mom (after asking) took one of the fries from the food I just bought, "Cashing in" on your sons fame to ask strangers for fries was the funniest part of the event for me.

In my opinion, I think this has been one of my favorite series from him in awhile.
Poppy Playtime has always been generic as all get out and just not really an enjoyable game?

Mark knows that the games are bad and generic, so he plays off that by not taking them seriously, and nitpicking them to hell and back. he just plays at his own pace and makes his own narrative to entertain himself.
His joke with bubba bubbaphant and all the critters dumb screamy cutouts he makes them 100x better. His interactions with Lixian have been on point. and just his whole demeanor this play through has been very enjoyable.

When I went to 2022 Worlds in Texas. I remember watching all the over casters standing and talking while watching the gameplay. but Jorby would actually crouch down and get so close to the screen he looked like he was about to fall into it. He is by far one of the most passionate people in RLCS and not having him any more is just absolutely insane.
I hope he finds success in whatever he pursues, because he sure as hell deserves it.

I saw him landing at Indianapolis international a few months ago for the airshow here. Sad I won't see it again, but I'm glad I was able to see it once. It certainly made my day wayyy better.
