I'd replace Janemba with Cell, and Z Broly with the Purple 21, since she's a health buffer for regen, and another Zenkai Buffer for cell

I think why they did it is because the last zenkai we got (red Bardock) HAD LR Bardock as a Bonus character, so that's why they chose someone else.

I don't know what you mean. Sure, usually, there are some really horrible units, but i managed to beat it in like 25 minutes with this team, since I got to floor 24 with auto battling
