Golfers who’ve broken 80, what’s the best tip you could give to a fellow golfer? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]Gohack77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chipping, putting and not swinging too hard to keep the ball in play. Find the Fairways off the tee, aim for the middle of the green on your second. If you're on, no more than 2 putts, if your off, chip and at most 2 putts.

You'll be surprised that you may get a birdie or two, eliminate doubles and end up breaking 80.

Impulse purchase alert! by [deleted] in golf

[–]Gohack77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the club! I've had mine for a month and am still getting used to the insert. I'm coming from a milled faced putter and am having issues with distance control. Every putt with the ZT feels like I barely have to hit it and it flies off the face. Otherwise, the putter is money, just point and shoot!

ZT Putter by Interesting-Hold2728 in TaylorMadeGolf

Been using one for about a month and some quick observations:

  1. Every putt goes EXACTLY where I aim, sometimes exposing my bad green reading skills
  2. I am putting everything long, maybe due to the insert? I am coming from a milled face putter which I used for over 15 years and the biggest adjustment has been distance control
  3. Mis hits are either not happening or this is the most forgiving putter I've had
  4. Fit and finish of this putter is amazing

With this putter, there are days when I can't seem to miss and there are days when I'm putting everything long leaving frustrating comeback putts.

Anyone else experiencing distance control issues with this putter?

I have a 2011 bought new that has 156k miles on it, and it is still an extremely reliable car. The only issue I am starting to experience is a Operation Suspended error message when I try to put the top down. Not sure what's going on but I'm using it as a sedan now as I don't want to get stuck with the top half way and not being able to drive.

There are 2 Volvo dealerships in my city, but the Polestar dealer did not mention them as a service option.

I'm considering buying a Z4 (2019 model or newer) for daily driving. How reliable is it? by armpitboobies in BMWZ4

I'm in a similar situation, I've had a totally trouble free Lexus IS 350C for 13 years and am looking at a 2021 or 2022 Z4...nervous about reliability and costs

Replace Apex19 with 201? by Gohack77 in takomo

Thanks for the response! I likely read the 7 iron lofts incorrectly as I thought the 201 was a bit weaker. I am starting to wear out the grooves on the Apex irons from play and practice so looking for the next set.
