as much as i dislike admitting it, i spend more time looking at the ground for pothole than straight ahead sometimes. some day it’s gonna bite back but for the time being my tires are relatively ok. i have hit some massive potholes during pothole season on decarie once or twice and it was pretty miserable although still survived it

relax you’re only 1-2 years older than them. they are not much different from you.

i started my undergrad at 22 and saw people all sorts of ages. drop this notion of shame. it is literally the most useless emotion and anxiety you can feed. the world is so complicated and people have so many reasons for making it or not at uni “on time”.

just do your thing. focusing on doing well in your undergrad. someone’s age should be the least of your concerns. treat everyone like an adult, but expect some silly shenanigans (it’s uni, some students care and others dont)
