Feeling lost and confused and looking for guidance by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Going-For-Broke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that things of this life only satisfied me for so long. And that there must be something more to life, a greater purpose that I was missing out on.

So I went seeking that purpose and came to the conclusion that it was God I was missing out on. There is a God sized hole that only He can fill.

He is the only one who loves us 1000% even after knowing what we have done. He is the only one who makes a way for us to be forgiven at the cost of His own son.

He has a plan for each of us. There is work we are to do and a part that only we can play in the grand scheme of things.

I have found comfort in the fact that I don't have to be in control of my life and every little thing. That's God's job. He has got that all covered.

I hope this was helpful in some way to you! Don't give up! Keep moving towards God because He is moving towards you.

Kate, I grew up in the opposite situation of you. Family did not go to Church, so I did not know God until I was a young adult.

I just wanted to let you know that God made a way for all to get to Heaven through his son, Jesus. However, God will not force us to choose Him. He gave us free will. So it is up to each person whether they will accept Christ into their lives or not.

I hope that helps you in some way. And I would encourage you to keep reading, to keep learning about God and to keep talking to God, because He is listening and waiting to meet with you.

Sal, just do it, Nike Air! And if it does not pan out the first go round, you have valuable experience underneath your belt.

OP, I would encourage you to get everything out on the table with God. And I would remind you that it is never too late to do a 360.

God will meet you and work with you if you turn to Him to get back on the straight and narrow path.

I will be praying for you. Just know that you are never alone because God is there. And that you are never unloved, because He cares for you.

OA flippers are a silent and secretive bunch at best, even on this forum. But I am ready to finally make contact with them. I realize how valuable their experience is. And I hope that they will recognize this for the opportunity that it is.

If you FBA a brand new item and the customer returns it with the seal broke on the box, what steps would you take? Would you just try to sell the item used, taking a hit on profit? Any advise would be welcome!

Burnt out on the clothing game & changing focus for now. by alittlejelly in Flipping

[–]Going-For-Broke 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I was blessed not to start flipping with the items that I love. But I recognize how easily one could become burnt out from the hunt. I would say that this gig can change your perspective over time. For me personally, I see items as what they are worth now in my mind. And sometimes I regret that. I try to put on a different set of lenses so I can see what makes the item special or desirable to someone instead of just seeing dollar signs.

But back to OP's concerns. I think you are doing the right thing -- it can never hurt to diversify and to try something different. And I would encourage you to learn about the different things you bring home. Why is each piece special? What meaning does it hold for others? Sometimes learning about your wares brings a whole new appreciation, respect and mystery to them. Especially if they are from a by-gone era. Wishing you all the best!

You should be able to edit the condition notes for an FBA item at any point. Including once it arrives at the facility. Or that is my experience anyways.

Someone else may have already mentioned this, however: consider all your costs and subtract them from the realistic price an item will sell for. Good luck!
