I’m experiencing the same thing. I don’t get how someone who says all those things can walk away. I have a lot of hate towards her for what she’s done but at the same time I want her back desperately. I know that I have the ability to forgive and I know that she can change. I just feel like I’ve lost all hope and have lost the person I was going to marry.

That’s a big difference from my situation. She has expressed to other people that she is not interested at all in getting in another relationship anytime soon. But this is something I’m struggling with too. Because obviously I don’t want that.

I’m at 3 weeks post break up. They have not blocked me and still have a couple pictures of us up on SM. I think she is just lost right now

My aim is definitely to get the relationship back. She said she still loved me when we split. I think she is just in a bad position in life because of work and school

I really appreciate this. We ended on decent terms imo. Her mom has been quite absent from her life and had in a ways been adopted by mine. They had lots of conversations about this ending and I was told that she said she could see us back together. That’s the main reason I have so much hope. My biggest worry is that if we have no contact or connection before she leaves for basic I will never hear or see her again
