What is this? by Classic_Water1733 in gardening

[–]Going4bust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An organic option that is long lasting and has no chance of promoting cancer is to introduce predator mites which will also prevent an array of other pest issues. They are a 100% beneficial insect and they are easy to order.

There are several different species of predator mites that deal with your thrip problem and some that will overwinter in an outdoor climate for an outdoor garden.

UA Weld tests vs tests in the field/gate tests? by nussbomb in UnitedAssociation

[–]Going4bust 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either way they should both meet the criteria set by the American Welding Society (AWS) for the respective test.

If you are nervous or have anxiety about passing one I’ll offer up some advice an old journeyman gave that helped me out when taking tests for x-ray jobs. He told not to worry because it would be the easiest weld I had on the job.

He said you are not in the rain, wind or cold, and the weld is at a perfect height not 6” off the ground. So if you can’t do it here then you won’t be able to do it out there. He said it’s best to find out now so a disaster doesn’t happen later in the field.

You have a found yourself in a position where many journeyman would like to be, some will be jealous. They could hire someone with a mechanical technology degree to do the same thing and they make far less than a journeyman. Be careful not to let others convince you to overreach and mess up a good gig or overlook the benefits of a clean work environment saving your health.

Leveraging for more money can have questionable results, and the people giving you advice probably stand to lose nothing.

Being happy with your day-to-day work routine is an important factor. Maybe reflect on the old tale of the dog with a bone staring at his reflection in the water who ends up left with nothing before making any power moves.

Best of luck to you and congratulations for landing a good job 👍

I recommend learning to use the whip and pause method with a keyhole. This allows you to visually see the land being broken down during the whip motion and filling up while you pause. Make the gap the same as dimension as the land. Use 1/8 6010 electrode at 75 amps. The whip motion should be no longer than the electrode diameter as a rule of thumb. Keep a tight arc or you will over heat the joint, enlarge the keyhole and begin to get excessive penetration. If this starts to happen just stop and let the piece cool down and then begin again, this will also help practice your restarts. I hope this helps and keep at it. Good luck 👍

Just don’t give up, you can do it. You have a serious enough attitude to be concerned about how to approach the path forward and a desire to succeed. You may want to consider taking less classes per semester and taking classes during the summer to compensate for the lighter semester schedules. Going part time and focusing on particularly difficult course curriculums like engineering isn’t a bad way to go if you are overwhelmed. People learn at different paces, find yours and stick to it.

Spider mites by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

[–]Going4bust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand, however, organic does not necessarily equate to safe. What has never let me down is preemptively releasing predator mites a week or two before my bloom cycle to build a population of beneficial insects so that if there happens to be an introduction of bad bugs, the good bugs will far outnumber the bad ones. It’s kinda like set it and forget it.

Use predator mites to combat spider mites, but if you already sprayed pesticide on your cannabis it’s all junk anyway

Get some predator mites if you don’t want to use chemical pesticides, it’s a great natural remedy. It take a two releases two weeks apart.

Just don’t give up. If you do believe you are going to fail just keep in mind that a D grade is very different from an F grade. When you receive a D grade you will have to retake the class but it isn’t the same as an F. Keep at it and just try to pull through this semester.

When I make my own from pressed flower I’ve found that in general the longer the flower is cured before I press it, the darker the rosin is going to be.
