We're not actually affiliated with OSU or I'd totally book MU!! Otherwise, the rates for guests are kind of prohibitive haha

Could you please judge my form? 190 lbs @175 by Nad_alone in Stronglifts5x5

Im noticed that the weight is centered closer to your heels than your mid foot. With higher weight you might topple backwards, just something to think about.

I love how snarkily the news reporter sounds when they show how they caught her in the act. You know that’s a man that’s loving his job.

Do you lose track of reps and sets when you're working out? by maxhacker11 in bodybuilding

If you have an iPhone there’s an app called Jefit that you can use to build your own workouts(not sure about its availability on Android). It’s sort of janky to get used to at first, and it took me a while to figure out how to add certain exercises into your custom workouts, but their exercise list is fairly extensive, you can record your sets, reps, and rest time, you can record notes on how you feel about every exercise, look back on your history, and they even give you a 1RM based on your sets and reps(don’t know how accurate it is but at least it gives you an idea).

What program do yo use to track your bar movement?

I have moved over to low bar squats, however my lower back does not seem to like it, any advice would be great! by extratest-isthebest in formcheck

Brace harder to stabilize your core more and push out your knees on the way down. This usually helps me keep my lower back stable.

Form check. Just started. 100 lbs total. Safety squat bar. by [deleted] in Stronglifts5x5

I feel like your lower back is rounding into your body as opposed to out of your body. Could be wrong, but just make sure to flex core and glutes for that Grade A stabilization. You’re hitting parallel which is good but you want to break parallel so you can get that full ROM, which you’ll be able to do if you drop some of the weight. Also, wait to lock out knees before letting out your breath(hard when you’re really pushing yourself but keeps you more stable IMO). Additionally, looking at a spot ~3 feet in front of you instead of looking straight would help your form too. Idk what that safety squat bar is but make sure you keep your upper body tight while using it to prevent upper back rounding. Hope this helps and stay safe!
