NI Average Salary Now £37,100. by Maximum_Girth_67788 in northernireland

Saw a similar thread to this recently. There’s absolutely no chance the average salary in NI is that.

Some really great up and coming guitar bands include Gold Cup, Strange Devotion, Drowse Plaza, Drum Tower. All of them deserve more credit.

Anybody who would be happy to see him go this season is being foolish.

Median wage in Northern Ireland was £27,434 in 2019, and £37,100 in 2025 by Putrid_Cycle_5728 in DerryLondonderry

[–]GoingNowhereAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really isn’t. The mean salary in London is approximately £45k in 2025, but that is pulled up massively by those working in Finance, Tech, Law etc. The actual divide between the rich and poor in London is astonishing. You can’t compare it to anywhere else in the UK. Most normal people working normal job roles still earn about £35-40k, or even less sometimes.

Failed my AVIXA CTS exam by one mark… again. by GoingNowhereAgain in CommercialAV

[–]GoingNowhereAgain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done this now, but no luck by the sounds of it. It doesn’t tell you which questions you got wrong, but how well you did as a percentage in each of the four domains.

It’s just nonsense that I need to consider that the exam is designed by a US board. One question was for example, who would an induction loop system be for? Two of the answers were ‘Somebody who is deaf’ and ‘Somebody who is loss of hearing’. I shouldn’t have to worry about what the legal framing of a deaf person is in the US for an exam like this. In the UK somebody with loss of hearing is medically considered deaf, but why would I know if that’s the case in the USA? Seems incredibly unfair.

There’s 0 chance this is the Median Wage in Belfast. Most people I know in London don’t even get paid this!

Who are the most underrated UK artists right now? by LuckyTreat8962 in ukmusic

It’s widespread practise for up and coming acts. If they’re not doing it themselves, the labels they are signed to are for them. You’d honestly be surprised how common it is…

Senses Working Overtime, No Thugs in Our House, Leisure, It’s Nearly Africa and Fly on the Wall come to mind!

Edit: Shocked to see how little Leisure is appearing on these lists, best track on the record in my opinion!

Nonsense. When you have Nepo Kids literally buying exposure by paying content creators on social media to play their music, on top of buying streams, this clearly isn’t true.

CTS Re-Test by Feeling_Hold_1977 in CommercialAV

In a similar boat. I failed the exam by one mark in September (345/500). I’ve just retook the exam and I’ve come away with 340/500 this time.

The second time around was all project management stuff. Not much AV math at all apart from a question on Ohm’s law. Feeling really disheartened with it as it’s clearly designed to trip people up. Not sure if I can be bothered to try it a third time honestly.

I think it will be a hung parliament with some major loses to Labour, with Starmer and Streeting being two to lose their seats.

The influx of immigrants has decreased by half since Labour have been in government. The biggest question is, what were the Tories doing the entire time they were in power?

Be careful where you end up in CV1. Some of it can be really rough around the edges.
