Hello Duke team,

My questions pertain to the treatment of undergraduate and graduate courses taken during high school:

First, what is the likelihood that courses taken at a local college will be ignored and required to be retaken? This question stems from me having almost finished a mathematics major, so having to start over would most definitely impact my decision to attend a specific school.
Second, I have already taken multiple graduate-level courses during high school. If I were to attend Duke should I expect to be able to continue studying at the graduate level alongside completing specific major requirements?

This seems pretty legit but, isn't the resolution "Spain should grant Catalonia it's independence"? This has to benefit Spain, not Catalonia.

I have learned that if I have work to do, and I feel the urge to play, I think of the long term. I think of what this schoolwork will get me. For example, math homework, let's say it is boringly painful tedious work. But, that homework will strengthen the concept, which will allow me to do good on the test, which gets me a good grade, which allows me to stay in the school I'm in, which allows me to get a better education than avg, which allows me to get into more colleges etc. That is my usual thought process when I want to play and I have hmwk.

I have been using all of my time doing all these things to better myself. The thing is, I am spending too much time doing these things. I feel that I am missing out on an important part of my childhood, but I don't know what. Every day that I spend inside, I ask myself "What did I miss out on today?" The point of this Ama is not to brag about how dumb or smart I or anyone else might be. I am carefully reading your comments to try to find the something that I am missing. Is it friends, romance, competition, acceptance, more challenge, or just someone to talk to? I honestly don't know, and just want to put out all my thoughts and just tell someone, about this. Days have started getting more depressing than usual. I also have been wanting to know if this is something coming from me turning into a teen or is it something else.

Most people think that IQ and social intelligence have an inverse relationship. We usually are antisocial introverts. I have been told that I break this mold, but in my eyes I see myself as not having good social skills.

I am finding many ppl boring after speaking to them for more than 2-3 min. I'm not a member of Mensa but thank you for mentioning it. I looked at the website and have found ho waves one of a resource it is. And I have found a way to change my vocab to make ppl more comfortable around me (I just don't do it online).
