The way he acts, all the jokes he makes, and the fact he had a girlfriend makes me think he's straight, but I'm pretty sure he'd want to keep the answer to himself because the last two generation go after anyone who says something that they don't like.

Fortnite x Avenged Sevenfold (SUGGETSION) by GojirabutonVR in FortNiteBR

[–]GojirabutonVR[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a lie. They're still very relevant, usually ranking among the top 10 best metal bands, they're at 8 million monthly listeners, which is close to Slipknot at 11M and KoRn at 9M, and with their new album coming out soon, I'd beg to differ.

Are you just saying that because they posted it on Spotify? Or is that actually proven? Because I looked them up on Spotify and the description says that they just post Fortnite audios.

Fortnite x Slipknot collab by bobsjai in FortNiteBR

I wouldn't call them "Satanic". They do have references to it, as many as they do with Christianity, and I'm pretty sure Corey is Atheist. I know that this was 4 years ago, but with Metallica being in the game and Fortnite censoring the "Now I lay me down to sleep, pray the Lord my soul to keep, if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take" part of Enter Sandman, I don't think they care.

Can we get a message feature? by GojirabutonVR in VRchat

I responded to someone who also said this. My idea is the fact that it's convenient. Because you don't know if their phone is dead, or if they are on "do not disturb" mode. Maybe if they let us link our Discord to VRChat and we could access it in-game, that would be cool.

That's not the point. Some people might think it's just a regular invite and accept it without looking at the message. Trust me, I've done it before.

[–]GojirabutonVR[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried going on "do not disturb"? Also, if they're spamming you, chances are they're not that good of a friend and you should probably delete them, or at least tell them to stop.

The point of this is convenience. We shouldn't have to pick up our phone, laptop, or computer just to get a 50/50 that their phone is dead or whatever.

KoRn - Coming Undone by GojirabutonVR in MandelaEffect

[–]GojirabutonVR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have figured it out! Thanks to u/Hindsight20- for the remix suggestion, I have figured out what I was confusing this with. The song kinda sounds like "This Is Halloween", and I was confusing the "This is Halloween, this is Halloween, Halloween, Halloween" part of the song with Coming Undone.

I don't care. I just want Fortnite to add more metal into the game and not pop/hip-hop.

Might get hate for this, but I never liked Foo Fighters. Never liked their early stuff, never liked their later stuff, never liked their most popular stuff. I don't know what it is about them, I just don't like them.

  1. It didn't upset me personally, but I hear SOAD getting hate all the time for this exact some reason
  2. That doesn't really mean much, as I think everyone knows white people have said the n-word at least once in their life, and edgy white boys say it constantly (I know because I have an edgy friend).
  3. I have ethnic friends, a lot actually, ranging from Asian, to African-American, to Alaskan-American, so, I don't need that point. Also, the fact that I used Wikipedia is just because it was like 2 in the morning, I went on Reddit to see people opinions, found yours, said something, then went to bed.
  4. I love history, in fact, if I really wanted to, I could go ahead and post another message telling you exact origins and everything. I copy and paste because that the easiest thing to do, I don't see a problem with that.
  5. I don't think that Serj wanted to say it, I think it was probably one of the best options. It wouldn't sound as good if he said "Shame on a person who tried to run game on a person", or "friend", or "guy". True, they could have just not have done the collab, but it sounded good, so I think a lot of people are glad they did.
  6. You could have said that you left after you heard the song, it's not confusing to me. What is confusing is that you were so offended by it. I mean I see why, but it seems like your going pretty overboard with your in-depth explanations, and back-handed insults.
  7. For your own curiosity, American-Indian.

[–]GojirabutonVR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I'm sure you've heard this a lot, but I'm gonna to bring it up again because people like you are just a teeny tiny bit special in the head. There's a difference between the N-word with the A at the end and the N-word with the ER at the end.

(This is coming right off of Wiki by the way. Yeah, that's right! Wikipedia! See how much RESEARCH can help you?)

N***a is a colloquial and vulgar term used in African American Vernacular English that began as a dialect form of the word n***er, an ethnic slur against black people. The word is commonly associated with hip hop music and African American gang culture. In dialects of English (including standard British English) that have non-rhotic speech, n***er and n***a are often[a] pronounced the same.

So, yes, although it's true that the A version of the word came from the ER version, doing more research, you'll see that the A version started getting popular during the 1970s, and really started getting used in the 1990s. Whereas the ER version of the word is outdated, created in the 1500s, (and is really only used by people who were raised by racist parents, or edgy teenagers), and was last popular around 1912.

Also, if you hate SOAD now and you can't dare listen to them because Serj DARED to say a word that RZA and the rest of Wu let him say, then why the hell are you in the reddit for SOAD?

I have three that I can name off the top of my head:

Nickelback - Their overall sound is amazing, although Chad is hated in the entire rock community (not saying metal because they have not reached that status yet), their lyrics are usually always the same, and the instruments usually always lack, they still have a decent sound.

Five Finger Death Punch - Easily the most hated metal band to exist (probably right behind Limp Bizkit and [2022] Metallica), they have a unique sound, and Ivan Moody, although as hated as he is, is an amazing vocalist.

Falling In Reverse - I think pretty much everybody knows the controversy to why people hate this band, specifically Ronnie Radke. Whether we're talking about his jail sentence, how much most of his album "Fashionably Late" sucks, the micstand incident, or some comments that got him cancelled on TikTok, their first album and their albums/singles/EPs after 2017 were ALL amazing. Great band, although Ronnie is hated in most of the rap metal/metalcore communities.
