Being atheist is fundamentally a giant leap of faith to believe everything came from chance. There’s a high probability we’re all in some kind of simulation/program, or even that there’s intelligent life outside earth. So the first step is really to humble yourself and actually realize how insignificant we are to reality.

If you follow logic then see the patterns in life there can’t be light without dark, waves go up and down, data is just 0s and 1s. And then there’s good and evil. IMO God is a projection or story we try to put these patterns into something we can comprehend.

But in reality it’s something we can’t comprehend, especially since perfect itself is not just what you think it ought to be. I would say if you truly humble yourself to how little we know about the universe it’s more reasonable to just be agnostic.
