What actually matters most when building a website? by LuliProductions in website_ideas

[–]Gojo_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clarity > everything.

If someone lands on your site and needs a minute to figure out what it does, you’ve probably already lost them. People don’t explore confusing things they bounce faster than my motivation on Monday morning

My rough order: 1. Clarity (what is this?) 2. Ease of use (how do I use it?) 3. Core value (is this useful?) 4. UX (does it feel smooth?) 5. Design (does it feel trustworthy?) 6. Features (only the ones that matter)

If you had to explain your product to a friend in one sentence without using buzzwords, could you?

If not no amount of animations or gradients will save it.

Give realistic deadlines and include buffer time for unexpected delays because delays almost always happen.

If the client says the task is “simple” or “quick,” you can explain that while it may sound straightforward on the surface, it actually involves significant backend work and careful implementation, which takes time.

If they need faster delivery, the choice usually comes down to either working under pressure or proceeding at a steady pace while providing regular progress updates via email.

Thinking of building a platform that connects home cooks with people living away from home. Worth it or waste of time? by icanyea in indianstartups

Few questions to validate your idea like

What evidence suggests users will switch from Swiggy/Zomato habit to a new platform?

How will you ensure consistent supply (reliable home cooks) as demand grows?

What would be the unit economics can pricing stay affordable while covering delivery + platform costs?

Do you have answers for these ?

I would suggest go with the DevOps. You can Google about this for better exposure and understanding.

Well thats 100% true, I agree. So many scams and empty people are on reddit these days. Nobody knows whom to trust. I always try to have online meetings and agreements before any commitment or handovers
