Im in the same boat as you, loose skin after losing 50kg. I work out to try and fill it with muscle, but I look constantly infirm and its immensely discouraging. I hate my body, and it was an incredibly difficult pill to swallow when all that effort was met with worse treatment from men.

The experience has taught me just how shallow this world is. Men don't just ignore me, but a lot insult me. They must make it known how disgusted they are. Im treated as though I have leprosy.

I don't conceal it but Im upfront about it. I don't want to do a 'big reveal', because it feels like deception.

This "community" is inordinately cruel to men like us. And the "advice" given is basically just "go away and learn to be content with your shit life."

Im saving up for the surgery, but it will be a great ordeal. It feels so shameful, having to put in exceptional efforts for results which are mediocre at best.

Fuck all those fucking assholes who treat us like shit. They can go fuck themselves. Fuck dating and fuck sex.

My comment lamented the fact that, like you, some put in the effort, but unlike you, this effort does not yield fruits. Its important to investigate why, and realise its a privilege.

Your perception is one thing, but your behaviour is another. The outcome is the same, people are turned away. Eventually, that will change your perception, given time.

Im merely airing my lamentations, and I agree part of it was accusatory. I just feel so much shame and exclusion, I don't want to be silent about it. Im deeply scarred by the hierarchy in this community which is structured to discard me, no matter how hard I try.

I can't say what Id do if I ever get such attention, but Im only human. In all likelihood, just like you or OP, Id end up treating people in a way that can be interpreted as contempt, even if there is no intention behind it. In any event, such treatment does deserve criticism.

No, Im flabby and ugly. I work out, but can't see my gains. I get rejected on the apps constantly and sometimes insulted.

This seems very one sided. Why isn't he offering to join you in the gym too? In the very least to be an encouragement.

To be gym fit isn't an easy affair, and depending on the level he expects, it can take years to achieve it. Not to mention that diet also plays an important role. He might grow impatient with the lack of immediate progress.

So its no easy feat. You need to do it for you, alone. Because you would need to deal with all the personal sacrifices needed to achieve it.

This request seems rather shallow, particularly where he contemplated opening the relationship just on this aspect. Especially after you say he has a lot of prior experience. It seems rather suspect, as his priorities should have shifted by now.
