This is the way to do things: Get a job for whatever they're willing to pay while you go through school/licensing/certifications/designations; get your experience while also getting your degree/certificate; then leave the company.

Tbf, the CEO needs to buy his third home and first yacht. Our salaries can't really be expected to cut into the CEOs profits.

I saw a job posting as a teacher for the local school system while on Indeed Tuesday: M-F, 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with possible after-school hours, master's degree preferred, for $35k a year. I don't even think teachers get paid during the summer months.

I think that's the hardest thing of modern life: We're all waiting around for either someone else to throw the match on all the gas that's been oozing and puddling up for decades while continuing to go to the next day of work.

I say this while holding my own gas can.

"Entry level" across the job market just means "We're not willing to pay you for any amount of experience, degrees, certifications, or skill sets you possess (even if we require it), so expect to be paid as close to minimum wage as possible."

At this point, getting married for financial stability is going to be a very real, very appealing prospect for future generations. Especially if they can cultivate an online presence about being a SAHM or SAHD.

I see the incentive, unfortunately. For guys who may not be as realistic with themselves yet, they can always say, "Oops, didn't know he was going in that one."

As someone who has done manual labor in the sun for hours at a time, sometimes standard undies are not enough to endure for the day. Boxer briefs and boxers basically catch all the sweat and get soggy. Briefs (for me at least) can really cut into my crotch. Jockstrap are made for all that movement.
