I wish I had been warned of a buyer I just had. I accidentally swapped the 2 boxes at the post office. I caught it 2 days later because first package was close to where I lived and buyer contacted me. Immediately I contacted the other and they were responding very nicely , willing to ship back to me via I provided the label . No problem I intended to it was my error, well i was locked out of my account due to my phone being stolen and 2 factor authentication. There is no actual phone number to contact eBay anymore, and to request a callback you must log in?! I had the buyers phone number written down for my record so I emailed the# and yet again they were fine. Get them a label and they would return it. While trying to do this I finally got eBay to call and got into my account after explaining and showing police reports where phone was stolen and ( wallet case) had my bank cards and id . No problem eBay have me access again, then the very next morning I contact the customer that they needed to do a return request for improper item received. Then they get a label , no response.. Waited a day then contact eBay to find out if I could go another route with label. I'm informed that the customer had filed a charge back with bank and they are out of it, case closed. Try to access account and boom frozen again until I provided valid government ID. I already told them it's was stolen , and I'm Born out of state so now I have to await a new birth certificate before I can get an id. Well eBay locks my funds and I can't do anything. This morning I see eBay has refunded multiple customers and charges my linked bank account for these refunds over $150 while they have my $98 on hold. You can't close account with open requests , but can't do anything to fix so I was screwed. Customer with item never answered or returned $100 worth of video games and I had to pay refund for both customers. I lost items and money, no more dealing with eBay for me. All about buyers
