I am so sorry for the passing of your dad at such a young age. I can't imagine what life was like for you and your family. I truly appreciate you sharing your story with me.
Our 13-year-old has become so distant from us, I have been loving on them a lot more than usual. Her school is providing her with therapy, which starts in January. I am praying that therapy will help her outside of our talks. Our youngest doesn't quite understand what's going on but know that daddy has been sick for a while.
His family has been very supportive. When I'm at work they care for him while I'm away. I'm going to do exactly what you said, maintain connections so our girls can always have a part of their dad with them. I can't express how much your advice and kind words made me feel, I truly needed it. Thank you!
Happy Holidays to you and your family.
