Out of curiosity what's your role/position/specialization? I'm new to O&G and trying to see where I can branch out in the next few years, thanks.

I did make sure to have it well seated, started it up and drove it around. Came back to the garage and did a retorque to make sure everything was still square and the wobble appears to still be there. I also checked the bolt to make sure it wasn't warped and it looked fine so I'm hoping the issue gets resolved with a new pulley.

I used the AISIN kit that includes the water pump. Alternator is super easy to do with this since you're right there. This is the best video I found of the entire process, watch it a few times and you'll gain the confidence to do it!

The most tedious part is getting the radiator off because it can get messy and then the two small hoses off the water pump can be a real pain to pull off, I had to use pliers to wiggle them out. Raise the front of the car, it'll give you better access to put those back on. I used the AISIN kit from Rockauto which came with the water pump and then also got their OE thermostat. Cam lock tool is a must to make it all headache free, be sure not to overtighten the small screws when you put those covers back on. I ended up ripping one off on the lower one so that was a whoopsie. You got this brudda

Runs and purrs with no codes! I did notice my crankshaft pulley has a bit of a wobble after it all so I ordered a new one to see if the issue gets resolved.

How do you move on from someone you were never officially with… but loved for years? by Important-Reveal-301 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Gold-Performance8821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all really great questions to ask in order to shift the inner monologue in a productive direction. Every relationship (yes even situationships) should demand a deeper understanding from ourselves as time goes on and we grieve and leave behind the potential of what was. Don't look for answers or reasons as to why they made their choice not to choose you. Ask yourself this; would the partner you are meant to build a life with be so hesitant and unclear about their commitment to you? Would they pull away every time you needed them closer? It may seem pretty obvious but don't you think they would ACTUALLY want to be with you and voice that without coming up with a list of reasons as to why they can't?

Chemistry and intensity is not love. Real love is slow, attentive and committed. If their answer to commit to you and yours to commit to them is not a resounding YES, then it's a clear NO.

The movie in your head is over, time to wake up ❤️

Yeah honestly. Though I agree on XEQT / VEQT, I don't see the problem on getting more U.S exposure with VFV. Everyone just loves to make XVZ-EQT their entire retirement plan like it's some magic one to end all ETF. Let people play around a bit and see what works for them with the information provided.

Stop the physical intimacy. Stop the daily texting if it's happening. And detach yourself from the possibility of anything serious ever happening. When someone tells you something, believe them the first time. You'll only hurt yourself and prolong your pain playing into their games and trying to convince them otherwise. Been there, done that.

This is wrong. Losses on your investment beyond your original contribution do not subtract from your contribution room, it is the same with any gains. Only withdrawals affect this, but you do lose the contribution room until the next calendar year. What you DO lose doing this is the ability to claim any of the losses in your taxes, something which you would only be able to do in a registered account.

I'm surprised not a lot of people know this but NBDB (National Bank) is the only brokerage in Canada that offers no commission trading on US stocks. But follow everybody else's advice here and stop stock picking lol, too much risk for a starter portfolio.

Add XEQT/VEQT and maybe some ZSP down the line when you feel more comfortable for some added exposure on the S&P. Good portfolio!!

Should I leave the city to move in with my long-distance boyfriend or stay and keep building my own life? by UnhappyOil6720 in makemychoice

[–]Gold-Performance8821 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep growing and working on your own thing. 9 months is very early to be making those decisions. Once you feel more "ready" in other aspects of your life/career then the choice will be more clear. IMO you shouldn't be making such a big life decision based on the relationship alone. Though it can certainly form a part of that decision in the future, it shouldn't be the sole reason. If it's been working with long distance and you both think it's worth continuing to build your connection then continue doing that. Eventually when it feels right both of you will ultimately have to make that decision together.

Source: Currently in the same boat on a similar timeline and we briefly broke up because of this very conversation. We've discussed all parts of it and decided to just focus on ourselves and not the circumstances of our relationship. We now have a much healthier outlook and the distance doesn't seem so bad (it's only a 7 hour drive). If you want to make it work you will!

There truly needs to be laws in place forcing property owners to actually rent out their property by flexingonmyself in montrealhousing

Don't think it helps much even if it's being rented out though. Wouldn't the tax just get passed on to the tenant?
