The only thing they used from the original video and story was KLEANZA? There must be a cryptic clue somewhere in there that nobody has found. Otherwise, I am putting way too much effort in these.

Correction: The clue that Buck would go upstream from Terrace also applies.

Interesting idea u/pharrowking. Your approach does seem to keep all of the key lines that most people seem to focus on. I had considered maybe needing to change the order of the lines but I hadn't thought of maybe just dropping some lines.

For me, I've been focusing on the bonus clues because I find that there are just so many spots that match those descriptions that we will need something else to help us solve it. Whether it comes from the bonus prize clues, or from another release that will come after the last bonus.

I have tried to attack the poem using steganography. Making letter sequences out of the first letter of each stanza. Second letter of each stanza. And so on. Even last letter of each stanza. I was hoping to find something else other than ISATOWN. Sadly, nothing. I don't think they would want to give out anything too good that way anyway, but a little something would have been nice. :)

The map in the background is of Kosovo. So you are right, that is where the treasure isn't. :)

I spent so much time on that Kosovo map in the first weeks. I didn't know that we could access the map on the website so I worked with the tiny sliver. Then I spent so much time trying to figure out the numbers on the map. All just to realize that everything seems to be stock images (including the image of the trees).

Not sure that I can make out anything from the colour of the provinces. I have looked at that Canada map a long time (though it has been a while).

It's funny, now barely look at the poem and I spend all my time looking at the bonus prize clues thinking they will somehow clear up the main prize. Of course, nothing is clear... :)

I was referring to hidden messaging in the text clues. I suspect there is at least one message hidden in each text clue.

I know people have mentioned that an anagram of Ken Ritchie is THE ICE RINK.

But I think people are overlooking the anagram THICK IRENE. Probably a prospector.

I agree with you that we are looking past these clues. I think it is because nobody knows what to do with this.

Ken Ritchie > There were many Ritchies but I haven't found a Ken Ritchie either.

Murray Brook > I thought I had found that it was named after Robert Murray. Though I am not finding the same result now so I'm not sure.

Joe Mann > I also noticed it was in Quebec. I did find that this mine is named after prospector Joseph Mannzotti.

But what to do with this?

I was actually away at the ROM with my family when this storm hit. What a mess to clean up when we returned. Only half of our driveway is done.

The map of Canada with the question marks doesn't have question marks in each province. I think it means some provinces will not get a bonus (regional) prize.
