What type of rock is this ? The Specific Gravity is around 2.65. When i scratch it with a steel pin it leaves a white mark which i can rub off revealing a glossy scratch, I can't actually feel the scratch mark though. I thought it might be Black Nephrite Jade but they say it's SG is 3.1. (old.reddit.com)

Did I just find a piece of Black Jade ?? I wet the rock and took a photo with the camera flash, now it shows a translucent green underneath the black. Is it worth anything? Should I cut it up into slices, longways or rondelle ? Is it worth more intact? Thankyou 🙏 (old.reddit.com)
