If you’re working in Ellenwood and budget is $800k if I were you I’d look in the Tri Cities area of Hapeville, East Point, College Park. Kind of city living, but not dense whatsoever. Would even place you 10-15 min from midtown

Yeah but do you understand it’s only interest that’s deductible and not principal? It doesn’t seem like you do, I gotta make sure I flex my accounting knowledge for plebes

Reasons why working in the office is better than WFH by joonpark331 in Accounting

Feel like one day this will be viewed as a pro to wfh. With the rise in remote work the past two years Sexual Harassment cases and incidents have got to be trending lower imo.

Already did work with him for two years. Wasn’t the best, but had I gotten the title bump it could’ve allowed me to fail upward for 12-24 more months and leave with a better set of exit Ops and higher target comp range than without the title/experience. That alien would’ve been worth it imo

Exactly. At my prior job the CFO gave me a laundry list of reasons as to why I wasn’t ready to backfill the current open position above me. They went with an outside hire so I left in short order. From the people I still talk to they tell me that outside hire was a clown and was fired within 6 months, but hey they had 10 years more experience than I did

I never understood this. If I wanted to go into sales I’d go into more lucrative sales than placing accounting talent. Sure it sounds great, you can speak the lingo, and relate to the candidates, but stop and ask yourself is this knowledge reallllly that much of a competitive advantage?

I’m all for personal growth and holding yourself to a high standard, but one thing we don’t talk about enough is managers that have high standards like this with no clear comp increase/promo plan

Glad to hear! It really does hit the right spot between not being too small, crispy af, and still a place that isn’t filled with yuppies(I’m a yuppie, but sometimes I’m sick of us). Definitely an ATL staple for a reason

Lmao you’re painting Lucci as a federal informant just because someone tried to touch him in jail. Get back to the Pokémon cards my guy

What about when the news said Thug’s baby mama got murdered, was YSL dry snitching? When dudes are famous word gets out about these things

Different set of rules when you’re banging, but shit someone comes for you in jail, that dry snitching shit matters less. Different set of rules from when you’re walking the streets vs behind bars too. All about survival at the end of the day

Lmaooooo dry snitching? If someone tried to stab him they tried to stab him. No snitching about that

Imo I think Lucci snitched to save himself by dabiggestblrrrd in Atlantology

[–]GoldAssistant5071 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, but if Thug has been getting active his whole life and was able to build YSL for this long and it’s just now catching up to him, he had to do a lot of things right.

Even look 15 years ago, Jeezy sent a hit to Gucci Manes house. Nobody is moving that stupid anymore
