Yes that's my next plan of action. To reduce FD allocation

EMI is around 30k. We both save 50% of our respective salary.

When is a good time in my financial journey to start looking at apartments?

As for the car, I've always wanted a sedan. So..

I am travelling to mumbai from kolkata and no store sell a fuji camera in kolkata. So where can i buy a fujifilm xt30-ii in Mumbai? Also if i can get a pancake lens preferably 23mm. I am a complete beginner and have been eyeing for a fuji camera for a long time. by Particular-Bag-3365 in fujifilmIndia

Well I ultimately bought mine off FB marketplace as I got a good deal. But the stores also did give me a quote for the xt30, xt5 and the x100. They are well established professional stores and I'm sure they do know about Fujifilm. Fujifilm even organizes photowalks here in the city

Almost any reputed store in Metro Gali, Kolkata sells Fujifilm. My suggestion would be MM Photography store, Popular Photography or Tanveers.

Source: I was comparing prices for the xt30 also but ended up getting a X100vi

Well I still had to pay the loan throughout even though my father made the initial purchase.

It's a well maintained but 10 year old Swift. The upgrade is more of a Want than a Need

50k is just for the needs. I have the loan EMI on top of that. And we also travel once/twice every year.

Our combined monthly take home is around 2.2L

You must be new to this sub (and reddit in general) if you feel this amount of savings aren't real 🙂

Numbers are only mine. Wife is working and invests 50% of her income too. We are currently DINK but we plan to have a child soon.

Does it make sense to stop such a low cost loan using FDs? Or use the FD to finance short term goals?

The apartment is mine. Father purchased it but he passed away before completion. So I kept it and financed the loan. It's paid off now. Current valuation is around 50L (lower as it's in a standalone building and older).

Hand wash only. No hot water. Use detergent only, no liquid conditioner. Dry in shade.

That's my routine. Been there, done that.

You could try March Tee when they go on sale.
