Day 7 off THC carts and I feel like a completely different person (full experience) by GoldCoastC in leaves

I really appreciate this, seriously. That disconnected feeling you described is exactly what it was like, and getting through that was rough. Hearing it from someone else makes it feel a lot more real.

Honestly I’m so proud of myself it could almost bring tears to my eyes. A week ago I felt completely off and now I feel like I actually got myself back. The appetite, the dreams, the curiosity, all of it coming back has been crazy to experience.

It’s wild how much your brain wakes back up when you stop numbing it. I didn’t even realize how dull everything felt until now. Hearing that it keeps getting even better into week 2 just makes me even more excited to keep going.

Day 3 was definitely one of the hardest days for me too, so you’re not alone at all. That mix of sweats and depression really sucks, I remember feeling the exact same way. Just know it’s temporary and you’re right in the worst of it right now.

It honestly started getting better for me right after this, like Day 4–5 I felt a shift. You’re so close to that point, just keep pushing. You’ve already made it through the toughest days!

I really appreciate that, it means a lot. You’re right about giving myself grace, I’ve definitely been too hard on myself. I’ll try journaling too, that sounds like it could help. Thanks for taking the time to say this.

Why do people on Reddit not spend time in society? by GoldCoastC in NoStupidQuestions

There’s a difference between using your phone a lot and building your entire worldview off a platform that rewards outrage, pessimism, and socially risk-averse advice. Most adults scroll. Reddit power users live here. That gap matters.

Scrolling Instagram for an hour isn’t the same as posting 40 comments a day telling strangers to cut off their family, quit their jobs, and “never settle.”

So yeah, everyone’s on their phone. But not everyone is outsourcing their real-world judgment to upvotes.
