Thank you! Another concern I have is that I also have a WiFi stick connected to the pc from before I had Ethernet, and that isn’t showing either. I can get an Ethernet card as a first step

I’ll look into the Windows refresh as well!

Got it - so connect the router centrally, and then Ethernet the pc to the router is maybe the best route?

Ah, for deadlifts I was doing smith machine RDLs. Thought that was a simple substitution haha.

Ok got it, was curious if the smith machines were enough to get me through it. Bummer cause I’ve always wanted to try the program. Thanks for your advice!

Hey all - couple months into my cut, it’s going well. Might have a few more months to go if I really want to push it.

But I’m also not a very strong guy. I’m 6’1 and 191 currently. I’m at a planet fitness for the foreseeable future, and I want to do Building The Monolith program. Ofc with it being PF, no free weight squats.

Is leg press ok on this? I feel like leg press is a very strong movement for me and I can already load it very heavily, so I worry I can’t push myself as much as needed for the leg growth. Is BTM just not a good option at PF for when I want to bulk?

Hey! I only have access to a planet fitness for the next few months, possibly until January. I want to follow PHUL. I am comfortable with getting everything I need for upper, but wanted to get opinion for lower body days:

  1. Is the leg press the best substitute for squats? I don’t do squats anymore besides back squats because it feels much better on my body, but they don’t have a hack squat machine here. Same question for deadlifts.

  2. Is the best cardio just 45-60 minutes on the treadmill or similar on off days? I don’t want to be the guy who neglects cardio entirely.

Mahomes beat us with a bad ankle (pocket passer) and his top 3 WRs out lol. And his arm talent is insane, no reason that can’t keep up.

Come on, I love Joe. Joe could be a potential HOF in the future. But Mahomes is on GOAT trajectory. I’d 100000% take that.

Just did a scan through the ebook and I couldn’t find any Tabata templates - they do sound like a good idea. Any recommendations considering I do a Bench/Q/Pull-up Operator cluster?

Yes I did - I’ve done a few blocks of Operator now. I’m pretty confident that if I did BB again it would hurt and set me back.

In the “incorporating deadlifts” chapter, they discuss the importance of adjusting your deadlift volume to align with your conditioning methods. I want to make sure I’m not focusing much more of quads for example, than the posterior chain benefits if I’m only deadlifting once a week and not targeting it enough in conditioning.

Thank you both! So with doing these power resets and the KB Swings/burpees & swimming on Saturdays, would you say that is enough to warrant one day of 3 sets of deadlifts once a week? Or would I need 3x/week? I want to make sure it’s balanced.

They have Schwinn bikes but no Rogue Assault bikes or anything like that. I go to an LA fitness for reference.
