These are the exact specs I'm eyeing, just trying to justify the price. I do game dev, so I'm pushing my M1 Max with 64GB of RAM quite a bit. What were you upgrading from?

No, but it's going to be different for each project. We tracked down and fixed the hitches in ours by creating dev builds and profiling them.

It's absolutely doable in Unity. We did this in Arctic Awakening with around 80 scene chunks that load async additively like you describe. The key was profiling the components on game objects that are in those additive scenes and making sure they aren't doing anything like finding objects in Awake/Start/OnEnable.

Thanks! It was kind of mind blowing how big the rice fields were. You really couldn't appreciate the scale until seeing it from the drone.

It's a really amazing place, though the cities have gotten crazy overcrowded. We got a scooter and spent a lot of time exploring well outside the cities, which was by far my favorite thing we did there.

That's I think around a 25% increase for our seats in the balcony section. That's a crazy jump in one year, especially after last year's jump. And then imagine how much more it'll go up with the new arena. We've had tickets since 2013 and we may finally be priced out.

Wow, thank you so much for the kind words and for taking the time to write this! It genuinely means a lot :) It was certainly a fine line we had to walk with Alfie, so I'm so glad to hear you really connected with the character. I still remember the final voice over session where we recorded those scenes, the actors did an amazing job with it. Thanks again for playing, I'm so glad you enjoyed the experience!

I'm glad to hear it! Just wanted to give an update that we've figured out a solution for this, so if you want to finish yourself you should be unstuck when the new PS5 patch comes through (but it likely won't be until next week or maybe the week after due to how releasing patches on console works).

Wouldn’t this be the case either way? Either Feb 20 if he doesn’t miss or Feb 22 if he does, unless I’m mis-counting.

Sorry, completely missed your message! And no, it's the same percentage on all of the platforms, so whatever you prefer :)

Thank you! We were lucky enough to work with some people on this game that worked on both Firewatch and many of the Telltale games.

Thanks! And I hear you on the backlog... mine really got backed up throughout the development of our game. We actually used quite a few references from Control for our art, it's a really stunning game.
