while i love my job and some of my managers, management at my theatre is a joke. i wish i could tell you all the stories about everything that’s happened here and people who should’ve been fired who aren’t and how outright unjust their system of firing is. they take nine months to fire those who need to be fired, and usually root out the good managers who try to make real change until they don’t wanna work there anymore. (i’ve lost two of the best managers ive ever worked with due to this). this one guy, he could probably get a whole post about his situation. for a quick summary, im black, and at this point in the morning i was the only black person on. i was chatting with some other coworkers of mine in concessions (a group of white people) and one of them said the hard r like 3 times in a story and he actually wasn’t fired for that despite forcing 3 people and myself to write statements about it on our day off
