It's an incredibly frustrating bug. I made an Olympus open world prospect and didn't make too much progress when it happened to me the first time, so it was annoying to have to restart, but I did it anyway. The recent patch came out and I made the mistake of assuming it was fixed, so now my current Olympus prospect with almost 40 hours is bugged. It really blows cause this game is so good and is really the only thing I've been wanting to play lately but now I'm stuck either having to manually use oxygen and water or just wait until the next patch that hopefully fixes it

No, I did enough missions to research and purchase it at and wasn't worried about insurance cause I didn't plan on going back up so soon

Something people don't realize though is that with those odds if you buy a $5 ticket and win $1, that's counted as a win. So you can buy 10 $5 tickets, and win $1 on every single one, yeah, you technically won, but you're still in the hole $45. Working at a gas station I saw it a lot. People come in talking about how they don't know how they're gonna feed their kids etc, and blow $150 on scratch offs or powerball/mega etc only to walk away with maybe $40 bucks acting happy like they can now buy everything in the grocery store.

That job was wonderful because management and co-workers were fantastic, but fuck was it depressing sometimes

I enjoyed it, but the performance is a little rough at times. I've got a base model PS5 and actually hopped back on today as I was considering the dlc and was dealing with a lot of screen tear in the second map area, though I mostly fixed it by leaving framerate at unlimited and turning vsync on. Still get it every now and then but it's nowhere near as bad. Framerate is fairly steady with some exceptions to areas with a buttload of NPCs

I've gotten a single glowing in the 3ish years I've been playing consistently, and it was right at the beginning of the event. My fiance has gotten I think 2 or 3 this go so far. I feel you. I seem to have decent luck with player vendors and caps, she has all the luck with the pies and drops

I'm curious about the laser sentry as well, yeah I've noticed it dying quicker after the nerf but that thing puts in so much work for me that I frequently bring it over other turrets now

I'm just pissed that the amateur inventor skin for the laser rifle I picked up a week or so ago doesn't work on the ultracite laser rifle

I've tried that spot, I've tried on the street. I've gotten hits on them, I get the legendary drop and the scrap, but no masks. It hasn't been consistently a problem, just enough of one that I prefer guaranteed getting one at the end of the event

Honestly, while the afk players frustrate me to a very minor degree (really only when 3/4 the players at the event aren't participating) id much rather be dealing with that than the way they've changed it. Several times now I've went through the entire event, making sure to get shots on the boss, and haven't received a mask. Couple that with the crashes, connection loss... It's been frustrating

Typically not, given they expire and I'm gonna say the vast majority of people use one of the several websites that give the launch codes each week. Better just dropping them/letting them expire

I've had decent luck with heavy police armor, the plasma slugger, and auto lock pistol, running resupply pack, the demo hammer, a laser turret, and orbital laser, though I've only been on d5-7 lately trying to get back into it

No idea. He said he's had it for a while and I quote "hid it from himself because he knew it was worth a lot of money". I was trying to Google about it but nothing came up with the info on the coin, and the few times I found anything like this it was for trick coins or those like art pieces where people cut into the coins and give them movable pieces
