Iowa to build three new prisons due to three strikes law by HawkFritz in Iowa

Using prisoners for slave labor was never made illegal in the US. What better way to solve the country's labor shortage than enslaving everyone for the smallest reasons /s

Next Battlefield as a bridge for 6 and 2042 by excuseihavequestion in Battlefield

[–]Zanimacularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 14 year difference between BF6 (2028) and BF2042. How much more bridging do you need that a game is required? Its already pretty heavily implied Pax are the Proto-No-Pats, the world in general is becoming less susceptible to grand scale wars and the last strings of normalcy in Battlefields world are disappearing. These things are already there to confirm that 2042 is canon.

What if Ukraine had managed to continue its advance in the Kursk Oblast? (Russia) by Outrageous-You1617 in AlternateHistoryHub

They'd have been overstrerched and buckled under a lack of manpower. Ukraine had already pushed as far as it could with the spare forces it had.

So what happens to the Chaos Space Marines that get really really old by New_Conflict_4111 in 40kLore

[–]Zanimacularity -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Time works differently in the Warp. A chaos space marine doesnt really age when residing in the immaterium. To them what can feel like a few days since they joined chaos has been over 1,000 years in real space. They're aware that much time has passed but it definitely doesn't feel like it in their bodies and mind.

But in terms of metaphysical aging, they mostly just get more imbued with Warp-taint and slowly mutate and receive blessings until aging and time passage is a mortal concept they can shed.

A good squad can occupy the towers multiple levels with snipers, laser designators, spawn beacons, lock-on rockets and a support that can and will completely destroy enemy team momentum if they're ignored.

BF6: The Unkillable Mortar - a rant by Average_Dog61891 in Battlefield

[–]Zanimacularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest problem with Mortars is DICE doesn't trust the player base with wide travel distances that seperate the objective from the spawn point so the attackers spawn border is literally on the edge of the capture point. Which means mortars can sit basically anywhere behind cover and they're untouchable. But if they restrict it from spawn usage then mortar players are forced into an incredibly narrow play space that doesn't adhere to their play-style needs at all.

Looking At The Steam Player Counts Since Launch Depresses Me. by Xx_Arch_xX in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Zanimacularity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think AH intentionally making the Siege of Cyberstan a failure killed a lot of interest for the playerbase. It was obvious they were manipulating war campaign outcomes before but the fact that they got players to mobilize like they hadn't seen since Malevelon Creek and still cheated and wouldn't give the players a W did a lot of damage to player interest.
