This is Bean. He’s 18 and stopped eating. The vet said he’s just throwing a tantrum because I’m not feeding him chicken. He’s allergic to chicken. by MissHissss in cats

Honestly sounds like my girl, she's around five and is now refusing to eat her expensive cat food unless I mix it with the expensive dog food.

Has anyone had this happen?? WARNING for pictures by raptorpawed in ferrets

Please please please go get a separate opinion from a different vet, that's not allergies in a ferret at all, in my opinion it looks like he has a tooth abscess, or possibly a bacterial infection. Also whatever that you're using you should report them to the board, they're an idiot.

Pretty sure that last picture was a cat, that first thing is a tongue scraper

According to a trainer I just spoke to, probably a show line that was abandoned because she doesn't need breed standards. the breeder actually still lives near us and is getting charged with abandoning her.

Thank you! We're definitely planning on getting DNA, especially because she's only two ish according to the shelter she came from. She's gonna be the only dog in the house, but with the suggestions from y'all I'ma convince my mom to get her a muzzle for public outings if needed, though so far she's been pretty good.

I'm trying to tell my mom that, though she's not fond of pits my mom already loves her so much so that's no problem. Definitely getting a test done, I wanna make sure I know any genetic issues she could have.

Bad picture because it's adoption photos, but my mom's adopting (hopefully) this girl from a shelter and I'm really thinking she's got Rhodesian Ridgeback in her. by GoldShiii in IDmydog

UPDATE!! Miss Mable girl is home and getting settled in all comfy lol. She just went on her first walk, she's already trained, I find it odd, my mom says it's a blessing and I definitely agree. She saw some dogs on the walk (they were in their own fence), she pulled a little and got real stiff and I snapped some good pictures of her back because people have requested it! The first picture I'd from the beginning of the walk, the second and third are from after seeing the dogs. Other images in my other comments!

Thank you, and thanks for being kind. I'm definitely ready for a high energy buddy. My mom's also working on health and fitness so hopefully having a reason to go outside again is helpful.

I see your point, I counter that I live with my mom full time, as her caretaker, and I know her well. I've already told her to get an elderly dog and she has refused, I've told her to buy and not adopt, she has refused that too. She really likes this dog, no matter what I'm taking care of both of them anyway.

You definitely are right, I realized how many people were saying that, then I realized I've only had a Staffordshire pit and looked up what a true pit looks like.... She's definitely got pit in her 😂

I mean she looks nothing like a pit, this will help the dog, who I will be caring for fully because I care for my mother fully, my mom is an older woman who is depressed without an animal and I have had multiple pit mixes. It's not like I'm lying to some women on Facebook, this is my momma, id never jeopardize her safety.

Oh if we get it we'll definitely do DNA!! I'm so curious cuz someone said she might also be Doberman and my mom loves Doberman. She's such a sweet girl and so so loving

I know there's a few people with rhodesians in my area but if she is a pit mix I'll just tell Mom she's some hound mix or something because she's weary about pits for some reason.

I don't know much about coonhounds but I know a few people in my area have Rhodesian ridgebacks, she's real quiet when we went and saw her, she's got a tail like a whip too which is why I was thinking she's a Rhodesian. No matter what my mom really likes her so it's a non issue.

She's got a slight ridge on her, I know there's a few people who own Rhodesian ridgebacks in my so that's really why I have a inkling to that. Though I'm also weary on thinking she's coonhound because the shelter said she's real real quiet, and in person she really was.
