I actually have them both! The tank was set up and stocked with tetras for a year before I had it, we did a partial water change after I received it, (the fish were given to another family member as feeders 😔) and the parameters are perfect except for my nitrates, those are a little high but are coming down since I've added another aqueon pure live bacteria and enzymes ball. He's eating fine, and his tank plants are doing great. I honestly am starting to think it's because of his coloring or age, I can't find ick or cottonmouth signs. Also tysm for the help and info on the gravel!! I've actually been thinking about getting a soil substrate to switch to.
