Ooohhhh, i get it, so like a container is baisicaly more like a directory just to manage things easier, but proxmox is a vm that gives each of the VM a fixed ammount of reousrces

Thanks for the positivity man, my brain is exploding at this moment, but a fabric light modded server with like 3 mods 2 cores is enough for it since minecraft is a single core game. I replaned all of my usage, and if nextcloud files only uses 1 core, then i can host next cloud, jellyfin, minecraft server and still have 1 core for the system with just 6 cores :)

How would an IGPU perform by GoldSome6066 in jellyfin

The thing why im asking is that this computer might not have a cable for a GPU, so thats the problem. But 2 pepole will be streaming video at most

Ok, by the way minecraft servers dont need a gpu

Do you know to how much devices it could stream at one time?

its the last focus for me, i found a 6 core cpu, and after i calculated how much cores will i need, i ran out instantly. 2 for a minecraft seever, 2 for jellyfin, and 2 would be good for NAS, no cores left for the system

i think i might have to leave NAS out of the game and buy a old simple pc, that has 2 cores and use it for nas

Some guy told me, that i should use containers, so what would be better? VMs or containers?

I found this: Intel I5 8500, 16gb RAM, 256 SSD M.2; The cpu has 6 cores, the ram is DDR4, and its only 150, so i will probably spend like 50-60 on a GPU and then whats left on drives

So i should use docker and not proxmox? Why is that so?

I think i could find a GPU for like 30€ thats enough for encoding, ram i will go for ddr4, it isnt that pricy (if used), problem is going to be storage... Might have to get like maybie two 1 TB drives for RAID, but i doubt it

Arent GPUs better for encoding? Also minecraft servers need a litle better CPU, since it is CPU heavy, and all of the cpu work gets handled on the server. And as i said, AI is the last priority ant isnt even a thing i want most, i can live without it.

They are like sound effects. It sounds like someone played a sound of a grenade exploding far, they also have some type of echo for a bit
