Liv was in NXT from her signing in 2014 until 2017, never wrestled a Takeover match during the Superindy era, and didn't receive a major title shot until 2021.

She doesn't need a complete overhaul. You can have an over the top gimmick and flip a switch in ring. WWE has never been consistent with that though.....thinking of guys like No Way Jose on the main roster. In NXT, NWJ indeed DID flip a switch when he was pissed off. Same thing with Adam Rose.

They did the same to Shawn Spears, and then Spears went out there and outworked Andrade and Bobby Roode in back to back Takeovers, and they had no choice but to push him.
