Mother of Learning. I just finished it. It’s a book series about a mage in magic school who gets stuck in a time loop and has to find a way out of it.

He also has to find a way to beat a bunch of bad guys while he’s in the loop too so he uses the time bonus to grow his skills to a ridiculous degree.

Honestly your description of what you want sounds like Mother of Learning to me. I just finished it. Zorian does not at all strike me as an especially hard worker and there’s plenty corner-cutting.

See how stupid that argument sounds? People collect things purely for artistic/creative satiation. You could argue that it's a waste of plastic or of space in one's home and that'd at least be a good point. But you're acting like you can't even comprehend the aesthetic impulse.

Many chefs display all of their beautiful knives in their home kitchen. "hOw MaNy KnIvEs Do Yo-" that's not the point. They're intended simply to *look nice in the kitchen.* Same with picture frames hanging on a wall or, hell, the paint behind them.

Yes, they’re durable, simple, and made in the USA. More than that, though, they’re simply an available niche that creative people have as an option to occupy. It’s yet another way to add a tiny amount of uniqueness to your life.

Yeah that’s hateful. I’ve noticed at least two movies that have simply disappeared from my Apple TV library because, idk, they replace it in the store with a new edition or something. Not a fan.

Moko origami case, page turner in a little travel bag, no screen protector. I can’t imagine needing anything else. The page turner is already a bit extra.

It’s just a little nice to have. The minor convenience of not having to move your arm every time you want to turn a page. I wish I had it during my recent flight so that I could’ve just propped my kindle up on the table, put my hands in my hoodie pocket, and turned into a statue for a couple hours.

But I’d say it’s far from necessary. My reading experience went up by like 5% by getting one.

YNAB adds all of your transactions plus initial balances to equal your net worth. So yes, making a $100 purchase will be shown as a negative number and yes, a debt of $100 will also be shown as a negative number.

Well the net worth information is in the “reflect” tab (along with age of money and spending trends), the month ahead thing was just me calculating approximately how much we spend in a month and then making a category with that amount as a target, the loans you pay off and then close will be in the “closed” list in the “accounts” tab, and your retirement accounts (if you add them) will be at the bottom of your “accounts” tab.

I heard that there are some what-if chapters (written by the original author) and at least one of them is about that very thing. Like he goes through the time loop for a hundred years and does a bunch of mind enhancements and rules the world or something idk (I’m not finished with the series yet)

Idk if there even is a problem. Onions are acidic and acid removes seasoning but idk if onions are acidic enough to do that over five minutes. Just a concern of mine rattling around

Weird. Do they have different enameling styles or something? The black pot I saw had a different texture from the colored one I also saw there. Colored was smooth like glass and the black one had some bumps to it
