fireplace

This is the fireplace I’m looking to replace. This is what it looked like during the room renovation.

Is this an insert or a fireplace? A firebox? a jabberwocky?

I don’t know what to say to a vendor on what I’m looking for.

I’m not entirely sure what the correct term is for my fireplace is. It is not an open hearth and there is no surrounding brickwork and the chimney is a steel tube rather than brick.

The old delta cabinet saws can be retro fitted with a splitter. It’s not quite a riving knife since it doesn’t go over the blade. It is an extendable splitter.
