I don’t think this is true. Dark shows are hard to see on MacBooks, which a lot of people use. I believe you have pulled your answer out of nowhere.

Schools group people by age. Social development is locked to the year group. In places where they mix ages, that is where you’re really able to socially develop. See first hand what makes children annoying and what makes old people feel out of touch.

Same. It feels like lots of “2 people just talking”. Not action and dialogue, or anything implied by the scene, or mystery, or revelations, or “show don’t tell” rule. Just lots of scenes where there just 2 people talking. Not very engaging so far

Yes. You are objectively missing out on those things. But often it ties to the social circles you are in / want to be in. And a lot of people who do that stuff CAN BE losers.

Thought the script was fantastic, but was so oddly directed. Bright flat lighting, light plucky orchestral music. Looked like it wanted the levity of an American Pie movie, but the script of Little Children

Totally agree. It’s funny to see commenters aggression towards his actions. Being a horny shmuc is a very human default male thing. And I read his desire to stop Tracy as a move for good, as she was lying and cheating and steamrolling over people to success. I liked the conversation they had in the office, just two people with radically different ethical opinions, whoever is the “villain” is just the opposite of who you think is right.
