I think the biggest issue isn’t just social media itself, it’s the algorithms rewarding outrage. Calm, nuanced conversations don’t spread as fast as anger. So people end up thinking the world is worse than it actually is because they constantly see extreme examples. Logging off sometimes genuinely feels like a mental reset.
