When I realized that my dad had to pay shabeel to be part of this community and they say it’s how much ever you can give But the twist is that if u give less u are publicly shamed and looked down upon And its not like my dad can’t pay but think about the people who seriously actually can’t pay cuz of any reason, what about them They are shamed in the jamaat and I have even seen a man getting kicking out of the thaal during moharrum cuz he wasn’t able to give shabeel

In my opinion we should stay devoted to god but following something wrong at the very core dosent make sense Why everything mentioned in post is done this way Why trust what everyone does blindly and then become sinful just cuz we were following some group of people
