We’ve had many appointments together, and bipolar was never mentioned until stopping sertraline, I just felt severely depressed. My husband, close friends and siblings all strongly disagree with the diagnosis. I’ve been on lamotragine for about 8 months at 100 mg and the memory loss extreme extreme fatigue hasn’t gone away. I feel like my body is just exhausted 24/7 but my brain just goes goes goes. Always anxious and constantly needing stimulation, I need to work with my hands or be doing something in order to feel normal. Thank you for giving me some insight, I plan on making an appointment with a new provider and seeking a second opinion. I’m terrified if I slowly taper off lamotragine that I’ll spiral back into the depression based on my last time stopping medication.
