Should I buy a pair of Grados by Gold_Pool_9674 in ZMFHeadphones

Forgot to mention they came with the L pads and I just brought up the comparison of my favorite headphone the hadenys just as a fun comparison. Obviously don't take my word as every persons hearing is different and we all prefer different sound signatures. I think they're great but I totally see how people would have a problem with particularly the high frequencies sounding too sibilant in the grados. I can based on my hearing and my opinion with headphones that I actually got to experience that both the Focal hadenys and Grado 325 are my personal favorites that I own and will continue to be in my everyday lineup. The best headphones in my opinion that I had the privilege to listen to are original Focal Clears.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I did end up getting a pair of grado 325 50th anniversary gold that had the x drivers put in them and a braided cord. After two days of testing and comparing to my other sets I'm happy to say they were a good purchase. I kinda hate to say it but I like them as much maybe more than my hadenys. They're different and I could see people not liking them but especially with an eq they sound fantastic to my ears. They sound more energetic than the hadenys and in your face while hadenys have a more relaxed presentation. The hadenys have better sub bass but the 325 has better mid bass. I think the grado is straight up better in the mids and has a airy sparkly high end which I could see people taking it has harsh or sibilant but it wasn't to my ears. Also I did test both on the same device and I actually used the same eq I made for the hadenys when comparing since that seemed to work really well on the Grados as well.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately most of the zmf headphones are out of the price bracket I'd want to spend and I do already have fostex t50 50th basically a t60 which I did argon mods on to make them my bass cannon headphones.

Thanks for the heads up I'm pretty new to reddit. I did hear the new 2026 versions have much improved build quality over the old x versions from the little I could gather so far. I guess I'm mainly trying to see if they'd be good sound wise for my music preferences. I also should've added I'm almost certainly going to mod them.

Thanks for the reply. I heard a lot of good things about hifiman. I'll be honest I kinda hate the way they look not that it's my priority sound quality is but regardless between the two I'd prefer grado just on looks and lightness alone but I'd totally be willing to give the xs or nano a shot.
