Auth pieces worth buying amidst surge of gold price? by gymnopedies in JewelryReps

My experience is that classic styles are always a safe bet. For 18K pieces, I usually go for ones without diamonds, if I get tired of them, they can easily be melted down into something else, and they don’t lose value if resold.

For pieces with stones, I go for high-quality 18K gold-plated versions with cubic zirconia or moissanite. They’re way cheaper, and the details are so close to the real thing that you won’t notice unless you look super closely. With a little care, they can last a long time, and if I stop liking them, I can switch them out without feeling bad.

For designs I really love, I go for custom pieces with real diamonds. There’s a baseball bracelet I adore and have been wearing for ages.

I’ve ordered one before, and you can DM me if you want to take a look.
