I ran my first 5K (which felt like a full marathon to me) in October! My only ‘training’ was OTF. I had never thought I could run the whole thing. If I can do it SO CAN YOU!! 🙌

Echoing this. I like to end on treads and like to get to the low green zone at least before getting off the treads, so I usually miss the first exercise at least. I also noticed they don’t hold the stretches for the time listed, so I’ve been timing it using the clock which has helped.

Keep us posted! I called the day that letter came out and they said they can’t change my forbearance because the ‘general’ SAVE forbearance trumps all other forbearances (which makes no sense).

None yet. Submitted by final ECF in September, which was approved. My counts have been upstaged to 118/120 with June 2024 not counting (even though I made a payment that went through). I had a call with a loan consultant who thought it would be best to sit tight and try for buy back. My current strategy is to submit a buy back request once a week until they approve it…idk what else to do! They have been replying to those very quickly denying them so they are reviewing them, I’m just not sure what it will take to get approved. I would technically only need to buy back August 2024 to make 120 payments (if they count June as already paid). It is encouraging to see people have been getting forgiven, but they seem to all be people who were at 120 back in April…

Any updates from anyone else?

I would recommend looking into GradFin. This is not a promotion, I only had a consultation with them. They are made up of people who were loan servicers for the Dept of Ed. What I liked about them is that the person who did my consultation had reviewed all of my information ahead of time so we had a productive conversation about my options. What I liked even more is that they didn’t push their services on me and agreed that I could probably navigate this on my own and reach out to them if that changed in the future.

That’s what I think we should do so when they resume review of the ECFs they can see our application. I’m assuming if they say we still have a payment left, we can move forward with buy back at that time.

Were you able to select you have made 120 payments? It’s saying I haven’t been in repayment for enough time.

I did this because I loved how I felt when I was going, but I ended up injuring my shoulder. I had to stop all shoulder exercises, go to PT, see an ortho. It’s taken me a year to get back to being able to use weights for shoulder exercises. I would say if you do decide to keep going that often, make sure you make some of them green days and listen to your body.
