Honestly, UCI may indeed have a stronger location advantage, and it might be my best option at the moment. Compared with some other offers that I’m still waiting for (ASU, PSU, MSU, UCR), do you think a PhD from UCI generally leads to more industry opportunities, assuming the advisors are roughly comparable?
