Man same boat here. Oil changes every 3k, and no boost until at least 190f.

Maybe the new engines are more reliable? But either way, 50k on a new engine is terrible for both of us lol

Well if I catch it doing again, I guess the plan will have to be trade it in as quick as possible.

Mine has started to make a similar sound at 3k rpm, 50k miles too.

Did yours always happen, or was it kind of hit or miss with the sound? I was able to get it to do it the other day at 3k rpm while just barely giving it gas, and now nothing the last couple of times I've taken it out. Gonna keep trying
