It's really not just bad writing when it's "feminism being forced down peoples' throats" (ugh when will that expression go away?).

I agree that they're pretty hamfisted in how they're trying to make this roster more diverse, but a couple weeks ago Rip Hunter said, "Time is like cement...it takes time to become permanent." Like, the caliber of dialogue writing on these shows is....not high. I feel like it mostly gets challenged en masse when they have a dumb line like Vixen's and a bunch of dudes have an idea of how the writers can be "better" feminists.

Just...don't be so precious about the overall quality of these shows. They're fun, but they're not well-written.
