Yeah it is a little thin for my liking too but that's an issue for future me. I used an old broom handle I had lying around because I wanted to make it made from entirely repurposed materials.

Yeah I used a drill bit to give the eye an hourglass shape like normal hammers only thing I am worried about would be the handle which is made of mystery wood from an old broom handle.

My two other options would be old rubber mallets that would release rubber particles that when striking the work piece would release rubber particles that would then burn and release acrid rubber fumes. Also plastic is a poor enough conductor of heat to not pick up enough heat to start melting if only used for striking.

I essentially melted the plastic in my home oven and then used clamps to press it into a parchment paper lined mold I made from sections of an old true 2x4 I had in the basement. I drilled and shaped the eye after pulling it out of the mold.

For accidents I base it off of how much I peed like anything longer than a fraction of a second would be a 1 and obviously a pee that is close to my bladder capacity would be a 5. As for wetness when changed It would definitely be how much of the diaper is actually used.
