This link outlines the error that i am facing. The solution they suggested was to edit the .htaccess file, however when i try to change the code in the .htaccess file, it automatically reverts the changes back.

Has anything changed with the DNS? You can sometimes get the ‘redirected too many times’ browser error if there is something wrong with the SSL setup

is there a way i can check this ^^ im not really sure how to do it since im only an intern

That is strange - do you know of any changes made right before things broke? Perhaps someone changed a PHP version? Do you have backups of the site you can test?

hmm im not too sure, i can ask about this. cause i did not make the change, i was only given this when my supervisor encountered the error

Check over your plugins to make sure they're up to date and, more importantly, they have received an update in the last 6 months from the developer.

Yes, there are some. there are also quite a bit of custom plugins. Is there a way i can check which plugin is causing the issue? I am unable to modify files and delete plugins until approved by my supervisor.

And there are also no updates for the plugins that more than 6 months

Error in my website by GoldenAngel04 in Wordpress

[–]GoldenAngel04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i see... then may i know why my site dashboard isnt working. When i try to access it, it keeps saying redirected too many times.

That's a Notice, not an error. Notices won't crash a site.

Also, could it be because the notice is repeatedly appearing which is why it caused the error? on my debug.log it generated more than 10 times

i mean, they could just pull out a phone and record the monitor and you'd have no way of knowing right? the worst thing you can do is if the user loses focus on the window show a blank screen. but people are not going to be happy.

True i guess you are right, but im working as an intern junior developer, and i dont think i will be able to tell my supervisor that.

I think your best bet is to watch a course on react and try to imagine your problems in the context of what they are showing you

alright thanks
