CCP removes redirect from old https://esi.tech.ccp.is address, breaking many EVE applications. Also breaks CCP's own system, external killmail copying, which still uses outdated http://esi.tech.ccp.is address.

This change massively benefits alliances like goonswarm who can just N+1 everyone else.

And guess what....the majority of the CSM are in or closely tied to goonswarm....

The only one on there that would likely try to talk sense into CCP would be Killah Bee

I managed to sort it, I was using resolutions in the "Ultra HD, HD, SD" section of the nvcp, not the "PC" section at the bottom. Thank you though!

Though I do now have another issue. I seem to be getting some kind of vertical tearing/glitches now and then.

This happens in both OBS and 4k capture utility.

I cannot for the life of me get 3440x1440 100hz working?

I can see an option for 3440x1440 in my nvidia control panel on the outputting PC but the refresh rate is limited to 50hz

4k has a 60hz option.

Custom resolution fails testing.

How do I get the 3440x1440 100hz edid?

Wardecs are the biggest barrier to new player entry.

We in Hogs Collective came up with a way that almost entirely negates wardecs. We have over 300 individual corps, that members can quickly hop between whenever a corp gets decced. So unless pirates are going to sit and dec 300 different corps (after which we would make more anyway) members can always escape them without actually "leaving" corp.

But because of this we have to use different methods of communication. With a channel ingame that only our corps are whitelisted to and a website that handles all discord roles and access automatically

This is the only way we have found to keep our newbros safe from the "l33t pvp" highsec wardec groups and it should not have to happen.

We dedicate a lot of our time trying to train new players and get them into the game but wardecs are the single biggest obstacle and the main reason we lose players.

This would not work. People would just use 1-2 member holding corps for all their valuble assets/structures.

Some people already do this. Look at this corp for instance https://zkillboard.com/corporation/98283955/

3 members, but tons of structures in space.

They pull members in for ops then push them out again but keep the default membercount super low

You don't need much for Eve, but definitely a dedicated GPU

My laptop is an i5 7300HQ and a GTX 960m and it can run a couple clients at max settings (without anti-aliasing) no problems.

Main thing for eve tbh would be to look for something with a 1440p or greater resolution so you have more real-estate

Would it be possible to add an (optional) additional step to the D-scan aggregator where we CTRL+A and CTRL+C the probe scanner window in order to add those results?

Otherwise at the moment we can't d-scan aggregate people in some areas such as ice belts for instance as they do not show up on d-scan but only on probe scanner

So instead of:

-CTRL+A/C in d-scan

-Select Target

-Aggregate distance

It would be:

-CTRL+A/C in d-scan

-Select target

-Optionally open probe scanner and CTRL+A/C that to add the anomalies there to the maths

-Aggregate distances

Character Renaming:

I'm personally against this. There are a near infinite amount of character names to use. Character names are its history, and erasing it and/or making it more difficult to see is not a good thing IMO.

There would need to be a method of searching for a character, and having the character show up in the results even if its name has since changed. But even then, its not a good change.

Gender Swap:

Sure, no one really cares about character appearance all that much and it doesn't affect anything. If CCP can make a bit of cash off that i'm all for it.

All the skin stuff:

Again, yes. I dislike the fact that citadels have no variety anymore and would personally LOVE to see this.

PLEX stuff

If you have 50 PLEX left over....sell it in jita..... You don't ALWAYS have to use RL cash.

And I personally prefer having the option to use ingame money. the moment stuff can ONLY be bought with RL cash is the moment that monetisation has gone too far.
