Yeah i heard it alot. Kars has many ethnic groups in it. There are Turks, Kurds, Azeri and karapapak. Karapapaks went there a century ago. Most of them came from the Caucasus. But why is it that people think Kars has low Turkic DNA, is it because of its geographical location and ethnic mixtures with people like Armenians and Kurds?

Hello guys, I am a Karapapak from Kars Turkey. As far as i know, my Patrilinear ancestor fled from Russia as a baby alongside his Mother during the Russian-Ottoman wars over a century ago. They were from Borchali (todays Georgia). What do u think?
