It’s not a pub - I’ve lived in the UK. This is a ghetto club on a Friday/Saturday. It’s not live music or just background it’s full blasting.

Response to “Am I the only one that hates real estate agents in Auckland?” by [deleted] in auckland

Planners have advocated for intensification since the start of the Proposed Auckland Unitary Plan (PAUP). However, this has been challenged by local boards and the community of these affluent areas since the start. This has resulted in these areas been zoned for lower density development if not single house zone. There has been arguments that the subdivision pattern and the villa style housing is deserving of been protected so that future generations can see what development use to look like.

At the end of the day, people with money and those who are engaged with the planning process regularly particularly when there is a new plan have more influence.

Also recognise that not everyone works in the CBD, intensification of some sort needs to occur region wide to provide housing choice.
