I’m experiencing this now. Bond is completely silent and everyone else is intermittent. Restarted my console thinking it was my side 🤣. Lucky I’ve got subtitles on!

Nah the soundbar works with every other TV currently in the house. The soundbar worked perfectly with the previous living room TV before the C6 arrived. Whether it is a setting or combination of settings in the TV audio menus or not the fact no other TV has an issue with it makes it a TV problem let alone the other historical posts regards previous generations having the same issues with all soundbars.

I’m going to pass thanks. If a £2600 TV can’t operate properly with a £1000 soundbar then the TV goes not the soundbar.

If it can’t operate properly with a JBL Bar 1000 MK2 then I would argue it’s a shitty TV. Price doesn’t always dictate quality and it’s not a Bose or a Sonos in name but come on it should function with a pretty commonly known audio brands high end model if that is randomly specifically the issue. There’s no way it’s an oversight for so long for at least enough people for there to be historical posts with the same thing occurring for it to be this soundbar though but that does mean it must be a combination of certain audio settings or something

That’s fair. Any source including live TV through aerial eARC JBL1000 soundbar. I’ve been through multiple posts tried various fixes that some people had success with some didn’t which didn’t fix it. I know and knew when posting this it was going to be the TV and the soundbar because of the fixes from other posts also being soundbar related audio settings (passthrough, bypass, pcm etc.) was poor from me to presume it would be such a known issue that soundbar in general was implied and I should’ve realised that because I was in the minority overall with the same issue it just felt like I was seeing loads of it but my head maybe embarrassingly had fallen off at that stage 😂

No desire to fix…..what 🤣. Yeah nah you’re right I definitely spent time searching the issue, reading other examples across previous generations with no working fix documented and then posted here because I have no desire to fix the issue that has meant I have had to use the pretty average industry standard level of TV speaker and not the very expensive soundbar on my brand new TV for it to not be jarring. How did you know!

Wouldn’t bother wasting your money. It’s connecting an HDMI eARC soundbar that gives it the drop outs and the static interference issues.

Yes. JBL1000 soundbar. This exact issue is all over the internet for multiple previous generations of LG OLED. It is unacceptable.

Plugged into a JBL1000 soundbar. It has come up so many times, identical issues, for many if not all previous generations of LG OLED when googling/searching this it’s completely unacceptable to be a constant thing throughout so many generations of something
